
Firefox deactivates and data not saved – Possible phishing or security risk”
Dear Mozilla Support,
I am experiencing a serious issue with Firefox on my iPhone. The app activates normally, but after a few hours it becomes inactive on its own, and my browsing data is no longer saved. I believe this may be related to a security or phishing issue.
My cybersecurity services (including McAfee and Bitdefender) have notified me of potential phishing attempts, data access risks, and suspicious browser activity. I have reported these issues to my security providers, and they have opened case IDs to investigate further:
- McAfee Case ID: 03203372 - Bitdefender Reference: 1010231778
Due to these ongoing issues, I would like your team to check whether there’s any unauthorized activity linked to my Firefox account or app. I rely on Firefox daily and need this issue resolved as soon as possible for safe browsing.
If possible, I would also like to request that my Firefox browsing profile be locked or protected against unauthorized tampering, auto-deactivation, or interference by malicious software or attackers.
